Karnataka to develop one of the best aviation infrastructures

With many new airports coming up in the state, Karnataka plans to build one of the best aviation infrastructures in the country in the next two years.
Apart from the many new airports being constructed, the government also has plans to build airstrips wherever possible, Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa told reporters here Thursday.
"Shimoga, Hassan and Gulbarga airport work has already begun. For Bijapur tenders have been invited and Bidar air force airport will be converted for civilian use. Hubli, Mangalore, Belgaum and Mysore airports have been expanded", he said.
