Cast: Yogish, Sanchitha Padukone, Srinivasamurthy, Dwarakish, Santosh Direction: Yogish Hunsur Music: Abhiman Roy
Director Yogish Hunsur has not lived up to the expectations. He gives a long and protracted screenplay and at least half an hour the film should have been applied scissors. A portion of flash back (childhood of protagonist) it seems he has picked the reels from the original film ‘Kadhal Kondein’ (made in Tamil in 2003). The film is touching only in a few places and other wise ‘Ravana’ is a regular ruckus. |

Cast: Prajwal Devaraj , Ruthwa, Chandrasekhar Direction: Prabhu Srinivas Production: Paramesh, Prem Music: Gurukiran
P2 Productions ‘Jeeva’ is having a very well written screenplay to make it stimulating to the masses. The misplacement of records in the hospital although an age old concept is used in this film ‘Jeeva’ and there are very impressive situations featuring Prajwal Devaraj. For the first time Prajwal shoulders a very heavy load on his shoulders in his career and this could be said as his career best performance too. |

Cast: Vijay Raghavendra, Yash, Pawan, Raghuraj, Pooja Gandhi , Nakshtra, Srinivasamurthy, Sumithra Direction: Prakash Music: Mano Murthy
The second of the film is over loaded with emotions and for realizing the flaws the simple approach was needed. The first half is with usual introduction of characters that is quite funny. What happened to Prakash one of the intelligent directors of Kannada cinema? He fails to generate a pleasant screenplay first and the developments especially in the second half have gone out of his control it seems. That may be because of foursome he is caught up with. |

Cast: Vijay, Pragna, Ashis Vidyarthi, Rockline Venkatesh, Shobaraj, Omprakash Direction: Sadhu Kokila Production: Rockline Venkatesh Music: Sadhu Kokila
With all the commercial ingredients in this worn out subject director Sadhu Kokila offered a lengthy screenplay. This is the remake of Tamil film ‘Thalainagar’. A rowdy cannot transform as good human being. It is difficult for him even after surrendering the film ‘Devru’ focus in this tragic end cinema. |

Cast: Shivarajakumar , Meera Jasmine , Monica Direction: Saiprakash Production: Om Saiprakash Music: Hamsalekha
Very rarely all good things combine together. ‘Devaru Kotta Thangi’ an emotional, sacrifice saga of brother and sister is one such produced, directed and distributed by veteran director Om Saiprakash. The film is protracted, the contents are enough to draw the mass audience, the fans of Shivarajakumar will be having a respite the actresses Meera Jasmine and Monica not only looks good but performed very well. The character artists have given admirable support, there are very lovely songs, and the comedy is quite absorbing, the technology pressed for this film - the graphics is in high standards. What else the rural people require to watch this film? Everything is there rather in abundance! |
