Here is a youngster loaded with energy but not polished in his style. You feel the experience of driving in 150 kilometers speed in the busy market place watching this film ‘Nam Aerali Ondina’! The speed of the debutant director Aravind Kaushik is OK but he has forgotten to keep the break for the film. In a long and ponderous second half the film fits back to the run of the mill. The dilly dallying situation of lovers could have been pruned and songs also needed the scissors from the director. |

‘Sanchari’, meaning a traveler from ‘Payana’ (also means travel) fame musical film director Kiran Govi, is once again a musical film. The bottleneck of this film is the dialogue delivery of the protagonist Raj. In looks, the newcomer is OK for this role that demands such ruggedness but throughout the film the hero’s Kannada diction is the great problem for the good story and music based film ‘Sanchari’.
Kiran Govi’s learning the mistakes from his previous films has made this film more gripping with action portions to treat the masses. |

Here is a youngster with substance. Debutant director TN Nagesh has worked hard on the novelty in presentation of his film ‘Olave Vismaya’. A good star cast especially versatile actor Ananthnag, lovely music and absorbing photography has lifted the level of this film but one question remains unanswered. When the lovers change their name and come on telephone do they not recognize the voices? In most of the cases the voice is easily recognizable. It is only in this area director Nagesh should have given a thought. |
